Gladys Nandaula (36yrs) was born normal only for life to change forever due to medical negligence during child Birth. She was 20 yrs when she got pregnant and at 21 while giving birth she had challenges and in the process the doctors mishandled the case and her spinal cord  got affected. Not only   did she fail to ever walk normally again but also lost control of her stool (Bowel incontinence). When we first found them they were struggling even with food and her young girl was in poor shape health wise.

The only thing she takes pride in is her beautiful daughter Linnet Kemigisha who is now 15yrs. The soft spoken 15 years old Linnet in P.7 is due to sit her national exams of Primary Leaving Exams (PLE) this November to move on to Secondary school. She goes to boarding school and the mother has been struggling with rent as well as tuition besides her medical challenges. I met her last year and have been helping with diapers and food. This beginning of term though BKU assisted with school requirements for Linnet as well as some.pocket money

Am planning to set up a saloon for Gladys since she knows how to take care of women’s  hair so that she can earn an income. 

Linnet needs $600 (Tuition and scholastic materials) to complete her Primary 7 class and move to Secondary. It can be paid in three instalments of $200 (March, May and september).
