The Bright Kids Uganda children started a baking project, headed by Mutebi Ronald and Kato Hussein. They got the baking skills from a baker Dr. Victoria paid to train them. Dr. Victoria was their first investor and with the money from their first sales, they were able to get their Cake business running and self-sustaining.
They are an inspiration to the younger kids and many are learning baking skills from them.
They use a firewood oven to produce delicious cakes that they sell to shops near the home. Part of the profits are reinvested into their business and the rest is used to help them buy whatever they want.
