Robinah was brought to BKU by Victoria after her mother was raped, conceived and gave birth. She doesn’t know the real father. Ruth Nasinde is the biological mother to Robinah. This is a special needs case who lost both parents to AIDS while she was still young.
She was raped at 29 years while her 80 year grandmother had gone for burial and ended up returning home late. Ruth unfortunately got pregnant and gave birth to Robinah furthering the challenges her grandmother was having. Bright Kids Uganda with her partners were able to raise money which made it possible to purchase a plot of land and build a small house for her. After completion of the house, BKU provided all beddings and food for a start. Ruth stays in Ssenene village, Muduma Sub – county, Wakiso District.
Robinah arrived at BKU on the 21/05/2019 since her mother could not adequately support her.
