Onencan Gilbert is a 15 year old boy who is one of the Northern uganda war victims. He lost his arm and got several injures at a younger age, when they picked a landmine and played with it as a toy. The bomb went off amputating one of his hands and leaving him with several injuries.

His parents could not afford to continue paying his fees due to numerous responsiblities and no proper source of income.

They sought help from the Director of Bright Kids Uganda and she offered to help them.
