Nulu Nakimbugwe is a sister to Zainabu Nakintu Babirye, Amina Nabada and Juma Abubaker Katerega. They belong to a single mother, slam dweller and born with multiple disabilities and hails from a slum in Kampala called Katwe.

Nabbumba is a victim of gender violence being sexually abused by those stronger than her given her disabilities and none accepted responsibility after making her pregnant.

She has 5 kids and all of school going age. Nulu is 15 years old and in Primary 7 at Ebenezer Nursery and Primary School-Nsazi.
