Gumushabe Rose is a 10 year old girl who came to Bright Kids Uganda with her mother, Mrs. Kobuhonga Justine, after they were chased by Rose’s father inorder to marry another wife.

Her mother moved to kampala seeking employment. In kampala, Rose was put into school but kept on missing some school terms due to lack of school fees. When she lost her jobs, she was chased out of the house she was renting due to rent arrears.

She was referred to Bright kids Uganda by the Local council in the area she was lived. Madam Victoria gave Rose and her mother a house were to live and also enrolled Rose into school again.
