ELIO OBANGKEN

Elio was born in one of the districts in Northern Uganda. He is a brother to
Shalom Agenorwot. He is son to Charles Okwonga and Ketty Adoch who
suffered severely from the land mines in Gulu District. Elio was so vulnerable
without any responsible person around him or a person who could stand in his
situation to provide him with necessities. His father and mother were unable to
provide education to him due their condition.
BKU was happy to offer a loving environment to Elio where he would be
provided with good education, health care and welfare so that he would live a
better life like the rest of the children.
He arrived and was received at BKU home since his parents were terribly
affected by the LRA war in Northern Uganda. The war could not allow them to
adequately support him financially.
