Agwa stays with grandmother following the death of his father. His mother, however, continues to work hard to fend for the rest of the family on a piece of land the father-in-law gave her. The family is residents of Barlonyo, Lira where the LRA inflicted untold suffering and killing of residents during the civil war in Northern Uganda for more than 2 decades.
