Bridget was born to a teenage mother and  police officer. When her father was transferred to another district, he left no contact and he totally cut off communication with Bridget and her mother.

Bridget’s mother had a normal birth but later developed complications that led to her death. Bridget was brought to BKU by a relative in 2008.
