Victoria Nalongo Namusisi shared her powerful personal story fighting sexual and domestic violence in the society. At BKU we have had to deal with such cases, where we rescued 4 girls who were sexually abused, an incident that not only made their life miserable but also left 3 of these girls infected with HIV. On top of that, BKU supports people who survived from acid burns and have taken on 4 kids whose father forced their mother to drink Acid and later she died from internal burns. Peace One Day initiative is aimed at stopping such behaviors in Uganda and all around the world. The time is now, lets stand out and ensure PEACE ONE DAY!
