This week, a heartwarming celebration took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as friends, supporters, and donors gathered to mark a remarkable milestone — 25 years of Bright Kids Uganda.
At the center of the celebration was Dr.Victoria Nalongo Namusisi, founder and director of Bright Kids Uganda, whose unwavering commitment to transforming lives through education, health, and empowerment has touched thousands of children and families across Uganda.
The event brought together long-standing partners, sponsors, and donors from across the United States who have stood with Bright Kids Uganda over the past years. Through shared stories, photos, and heartfelt speeches, guests reflected on the incredible journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of Uganda’s most respected child-focused NGOs.
Guests also had the opportunity to reconnect with the mission of Bright Kids Uganda, learn about recent projects, and hear firsthand how their support continues to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children — providing them with a future full of hope and opportunity.
The celebration wasn’t just a time to look back — it was also a moment to look forward. Plans for expanding impact, supporting more children, and deepening international partnerships were shared with excitement and optimism.
Bright Kids Uganda thanks all its donors, friends, and well-wishers who have made this journey possible. Here’s to the next 25 years of building brighter futures — together
