We welcomed 11 people from Ireland. The group consisted of 7 students and 4 coordinators. They came for a 2 weeks tailored internship programme under Bright Kids Uganda. The program included; community outreaches, Irish embassy visit, Island community outreaches, tourist sites tours, kisubi hospital visit and Kisubi university visit.
The Ireland team was warmly welcomed at Kisubi University. They were able to interact with the Vice chancellor of the university and got to know about what the university has to offer. The medical students along with their professors visited Kisubi Hospital where they got a guided tour of the whole hospital. They were able to interact with various heads of departments that further explained about the operations and the various cases that they handle in their respective departments.

We had a visit from the Project Ten medical team. They held training session in which they demonstrated different health techniques, first Aid, and how to use reusable pads. It was an awesome learning experience for our children.
