Under the Presidency of George W. Bush, Jr. the “US President’s Fund” was established to help prevent HIV positive mothers from passing the disease to their unborn children.  Robert is one of the US President’s Fund success stories.  Robert’s mother took special drugs during her pregnancy provided by the US fund through TASO-Uganda.  He was born HIV negative and, even after 5 tests, remains negative.  Robert is a very healthy young man, despite loosing his mother to HIV/AIDS at the age of 3 years old.  He is very social and wears a constant smile.
