Esther is a born of 2008 to Stepheniah Nyachwo (widow) and Nicholas Obwama (deceased) from Boader village, Asinge parish, Kwapa sub county, Tororo district.

She was living with her grandmother who could neither support her materially nor offer education. Her father was poisoned and died in 2009.

Esther was admitted to BKU home on the 23/01/2014.
